We ( 2 adults and 3 children aged 13,11,4) spent 5 days at Carmarthen bay in may. We were able to come a day early after they contacted us to inform us the accommodation was available for an extra night. We were apprehensive after reading the bad reviews. We booked a gold chalet and the one we got was spotless and very comfortable and no sign of damp and believe me I am fussy ! (think they had just been decorated). We had a really lovely stay. The staff are really hard working and helpful. Cant
really fault anything other than entertainment bit naff but that's what you expect to find in holiday park. We will definitely be going again.

Lovely staff, excellent holiday park. We returned there 3 times last year after a sun holiday in April 2010, so far we've been back twice this year with plans to return again over the summer and possibly in september/october. Lovely accomodation, good entertainment for all ages. Very central for visiting the surrounding areas, eg carmarthen, tenby, etc, not too far from Oakwood park either
We booked a 3 bedroom chalet on the beach front. The accomodation was fantastic, well furnished with extras such as washing mahine, dryer, sky tv etc. The chalet was double glazed and heated. The chalet was fab, we could sit on the patio and watch our children play in the sand and paddle in the water. Its a small park, which I liked, with very little traffic, and you had the feeling that it was very safe. The club was great, childrens programe fantastic. The outdoor park was really good too. They also had an indoor play area which was good if a little small. All staff were friendly and helpful. We had such a relaxing holiday it was great, normally with children, you come home needing a break to get over the holiday, but this park is so relaxed and peaceful, that you really can relax. “we loved staying at carmarthen bay & will be back!” |
“Great park, friendly staff and lovely views”  “All round good holiday” We cant put in words the experience we got from our stay at carmathen bay it has to be the best weeks holiday we have had with the kids loving every day off it and not wanting to go home. the caravan was totaly clean as well as the park and amenities on it. |
